📋 TL;DR
A vulnerability in Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows a logically adjacent BGP peer to crash the routing protocol daemon (rpd) by sending a specifically malformed BGP packet, causing a Denial of Service (DoS). Only systems configured for Ethernet Virtual Private Networking (EVPN) signaling are affected. This impacts both iBGP and eBGP peers using IPv4 or IPv6.
