📋 TL;DR
This vulnerability allows local attackers to execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges on affected Samsung devices by exploiting an out-of-bounds write in the libsthmbc.so library. User interaction is required to trigger the vulnerability, which affects Samsung devices prior to the January 2025 security update. The vulnerability enables privilege escalation from a local user context to higher system privileges.
