CVE-2024-34612
📋 TL;DR
This vulnerability is an out-of-bounds write in Samsung's libcodec2secmp4vdec.so library that allows local attackers to execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges. It affects Samsung mobile devices running vulnerable versions of the library prior to the August 2024 security update. Attackers need local access to the device to exploit this vulnerability.
