📋 TL;DR
An unauthenticated network attacker can cause denial of service by sending a specially crafted BGP update with a malformed tunnel encapsulation TLV, causing the Routing Protocol Daemon (RPD) to crash and restart. This affects Juniper Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved routers running vulnerable versions. Network administrators with BGP-enabled Juniper devices are affected.
