Remote Code Execution Denial of Service Buffer Overflow

📋 TL;DR

This vulnerability allows unauthenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary code with root privileges on Cisco Catalyst 4500 series switches running affected IOS XE software. Attackers can exploit it by sending crafted Easy VSS protocol packets to UDP port 5500, potentially leading to complete device compromise. Organizations using affected Cisco Catalyst switches with Easy VSS enabled are at risk.
