📋 TL;DR
An improper locking vulnerability in Juniper SRX Series GTP plugin allows unauthenticated attackers to cause denial-of-service by sending malformed GTP Modify Bearer Request messages. This causes a watchdog timeout leading to FPC crash and restart, resulting in complete traffic outage until automatic recovery. Affects Junos OS on SRX Series devices running vulnerable versions.
