📋 TL;DR
An unauthenticated network attacker can cause a denial-of-service by sending a specific sequence of SIP calls to Juniper MX Series devices with MS-MPC cards running vulnerable Junos OS versions. This causes the MS-MPC to crash and restart, disrupting SIP traffic processing. Only MX Series with MS-MPC cards in specific configurations with multiple service sets processing SIP calls are affected.
