An unauthenticated attacker can cause denial-of-service on Juniper MX Series routers by sending high rates of specific GRE traffic. This causes the Packet Forwarding Engine to hang, stopping all traffic forwarding. Affects Junos OS on MX Series routers running vulnerable versions.
