📋 TL;DR
This vulnerability allows local attackers with shell privileges to escalate to root privileges through improper access control in the HDCP trustlet component. It affects Samsung mobile devices running Android with the vulnerable trustlet prior to the April 2025 security update. Attackers need initial shell access on the device to exploit this.
