📋 TL;DR
An unauthenticated adjacent attacker can cause denial of service by sending high volumes of specific Layer 2 packets in EVPN/VXLAN scenarios, causing the routing daemon to consume all CPU resources and hang the device. This affects Juniper Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved devices running vulnerable versions. A manual restart of the rpd process is required to restore services.
