CVE-2024-20455
📋 TL;DR
This vulnerability allows unauthenticated remote attackers to cause a denial of service (DoS) by sending crafted traffic through SD-WAN IPsec tunnels on affected Cisco IOS XE devices. The vulnerability exists in the Unified Threat Defense (UTD) component's traffic classification process, which improperly handles certain packets exiting SD-WAN IPsec tunnels. Only devices running Cisco IOS XE Software in controller mode with SD-WAN IPsec tunnels (not GRE tunnels) are affected.
