📋 TL;DR
An unauthenticated attacker on the same network segment can send specially crafted OSPFv2 packets to vulnerable Cisco IOS XE devices, causing them to crash and reload. This creates a denial-of-service condition that disrupts network routing. Only devices running affected Cisco IOS XE software with OSPFv2 enabled are vulnerable.
