📋 TL;DR
This vulnerability in Juniper QFX5k devices with storm control enabled allows ICMPv6 packets to bypass security checks, causing packets to be incorrectly punted to the ARP queue. This creates a layer-2 loop that can result in denial-of-service conditions and trigger DDoS violation alerts. Only Juniper QFX5k devices running affected Junos OS versions are impacted.
