📋 TL;DR
An unauthenticated network attacker can send specific packets to Aggregated Multiservices (AMS) interfaces on vulnerable Juniper MX Series devices, causing the packet forwarding engine to crash and resulting in denial of service. This affects Juniper Networks Junos OS on MX Series with specific hardware cards (MS-MPC, MS-MIC, MX-SPC3) running affected versions. Only traffic destined to local interfaces via AMS service interfaces triggers this issue.
