📋 TL;DR
This is a critical buffer overflow vulnerability in Juniper Junos OS overlayd service that handles VXLAN overlay OAM packets. Unauthenticated remote attackers can send specially crafted UDP packets to port 4789, potentially causing denial of service or remote code execution with root privileges. Affected systems include MX, ACX, and QFX Series platforms running vulnerable Junos OS versions with VXLAN configured.
